Poor, poor Brandon Knight.
The Detroit Pistons guard was on the receiving end of the latest Lob City posterization. Just a few days after Jamal Crawford and Blake Griffin teamed up for an epic alley-oop, two other Clippers may have topped it. At the very least, the dunk toppled Knight.
With the Clippers leading Detroit by 19 points late in the second quarter on Sunday, Chris Paul dribbled along the perimeter and threw up an alley-oop pass to DeAndre Jordan. Misguidedly, the 6'3 Knight tried to get in Jordan's way. Undeterred, Jordan caught the pass and threw down a vicious one-handed dunk over the Pistons' sophomore.
Everyone on the Clippers' bench jumped to their feet as Jordan walked back to the other end of the court, looking as if he knew he just embarrassed Knight.
LeBron James wasted no time acknowledging the slam on Twitter.
A few other NBA players wondered why Knight tried stopping Jordan.
Shelvin Mack
Why did he jump?????
Harrison Barnes
Why jump B. Knight?!
