Recently I shared my experiences with the Bagster Bag. In case you missed it, you can still check my Bagster Bag Challenge post by clicking on the link. Daily pickups in our town for Hurricane Sandy debris has finally come to a halt. For folks still doing projects post Sandy, the Bagster bag is a very viable solution for managing waste resulting from home improvement projects.
For those that didn?t read my last post yet or don?t remember, Waste Management designed The Bagster Bag specifically for DIY home improvement projects. The Bagster bag is a single-use woven bag that can hold up to 3,300 pounds of debris. The Bagster Bag can accommodate large items, construction materials, trash, debris and many other things.? It?ll even hold a bath tub! In other words, it?s a portable dumpster. The Bagster Bag requires no delivery and can be purchased any time at more than 2,200 home improvement and hardware stores nationwide such as The Home Depot, Lowe?s, Ace Hardware and True Value. When you are finished with your project you can schedule pickup of The Bagster Bag online at www.thebagster.com or by calling 1-877-789-2247. Waste Management will collect the bag within three business days after that.
Compliments of Waste Management, I was able to host giveaway for a $100 AmEx gift card. To select the winner of this giveaway I used the ?And The Winner Is? plugin, and then confirmed eligibility by verifying the entry manually.
The winner of the $100 Amex GC from #BagsterBag is Eileen!
Eileen?s comment was :
Oh my gosh this post has made me GIDDY! I have never heard of this. I am a DIY and often start big projects, only to be set aside by illness. So a big project like we did last year, completely gutting our son?s room of walls, drop ceiling and carpet, trim?it was 2 truckloads. But this would allow me to do smaller projects, like redoing trim and cutting out tile for our bathroom and NOT waiting til the project end to get rid of all of it at once. I hate that our garage gets full of the stuff and then we WAIT til we have all finished to take it somewhere. It is SO much work and often dangerous. Old mirrors, nails and hazard of moving old carpets out and drywall. So, I?d use this for these things in STEPs and not all at once. I hope they do in our area! thanks so much!
Congratulations Eileen! And thank you to everyone that entered the giveaway! Please consider subscribing to my feed so you don?t miss out on the latest posts, reviews and giveaways.
